Xerotherm liquid Thermal Management System (TMS) keeps battery cells at the optimum temperature, allowing for high charge and discharge rates without running into a thermal throttling. Our proprietary TMS extends the life, ensures safety and improves performance of Hibernium batteries.
We have limited wiring to the minimum, with our direct module interconnection. Our approach enables higher current delivery and improved reliability over traditional cable connectors.
Direct interconnection of the thermal system between modules and optimized parallel flow paths enable significantly increased flowrates resulting in lower cross-pack thermal gradients and equal performance and aging of the battery cells.

When space is a constrain, Hibernium battery packs offer one of the highest packing densities available on the market with up to 200Wh/kg and 240Wh/l on pack level.
Hibernium packs can be stacked and connected in series or parallel, to deliver MWh system capacities, or fill the available space efficiently.

The risk of thermal propagation is virtually eliminated with Xerotech’s proprietary module design by using a specially engineered fire-retardant structural foam. It’s 85% lighter than solutions used by leading electric vehicle manufacturers. The combination of fire-retardant thermally insulating foam and an extremely conductive thermal management system results in a highly-robust and safe battery systems.
